Secretary of State John Kerry in a recent speech said we don’t want to implicate all Muslims by using the term Islamic extremist. Apparently Secretary Kerry’s English is not as good as his French. Islamic extremist by definition refers only to those Muslims that practice the most extreme form of Islam. When we use terms like evangelical Christian, Southern Baptist or religious fanatic we know precisely who we are referring to. The only reason I can think of that President Obama and his administration refuse to use the term Islamic extremists is that they are more concerned about the feelings of Muslims they believe may be offended by the term than they are about the sensibilities of the American people.
