I don’t know why this is here but I’ll comment since it is. I met Fallon when he was in Indy and he seems a lot sharper than I expected. I don’t think he’s at the level yet of the others Ross mentions but I believe he’s on his way.
I don’t know where he got the idea to walk around downtown dressed as a woman but people were fallin down laughing.

Whats wrong with it being on here? I think it is refreshing when Ed’s Blog takes a break from politics from time to time.

I remember my parents enjoying the show when it was hosted by Steve Allen and Jack Paar. I was too young to have any interest nor was I part of their target audience at the time. When Johnny Carson came on the scene, things seemed to change a bit. I couldn’t help but notice that the viewers of a younger age started to enjoy the show. The same could be said for Jay Leno. They both had the ability to joke about politicans of both parties, in a funny, but not too vicious mannor. Some of those same politicians seem to enjoy the attention they received and would latter be comfortable as a guest on the show. It takes a lot of tact to deliver jokes in a mannor that is just inside the boundry of being too personal or hurtful, and Carson and Leno were both masters at doing that. I hope Fallon has the ability to continue what has worked so well for decades, and doesn’t try to fix something that isn’t broken.
