THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES: THE DIE HAS BEEN CAST

Tuesday’s second presidential debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, was a bare knuckles brawl. Most pundits say President Barack Obama scored more debating points; American voters, however, do not score these debates by any fixed set of rules. They react to them during and afterward with their individual hearts, minds, and guts; and when the votes are tallied on Election Day, Barack Obama will prove the big loser. There were no “debating points” to be scored. To plagiarize Rush,”…Obama lied, had no record to stand on, and tried to demonize Romney”. The American sheeple can see that, no matter which side they’re on.

The Obama of Tuesday night was no match for the 2008 Obama that got elected!
If anyone is stupid enough to let Ms Crowley moderate another debate I suggest that both sides in the debate agree in advance to put a box of Oreo cookies on her desk just prior to the debate’s opening.

Ms Crowley will have her mouth too full of Oreos to interrupt either candidate !

You are absolutely correct. Media lapdogs influencing the outcome is off-putting and the American people have had quite enough. We also react when we see friends and neighbors out of work, kids we saw grow up with pricey degrees working a string of part time jobs, when our favorite family restaurants go out of business. He has a record now, and it’s awful.

Ed, I hope your are correct. I like dealing with facts and the facts are clear — what Obama has tried has failed. The National Debt has increased beyond reason and he continues to try to convince us that he just needs more time. I believe he is for Socialism and is trying to turn the USA into a Socialist country. He wants Big Government and wants Government to run everything. If he wins a 2nd term and Socialized Medicine gets implemented — trust me — the people who voted for him are going to regret it. Voting for someone because they are a certain race is as much a wrong as not voting for someone because of race. I hope people vote based upon merit — if they do — it will be a Romney landslide victory.

There’s more to LIbya than meets the eye.

This morning on CNN congressman Elliot Shill Engel from NY said republicans politicizing it (yes, they should) and that Ryan’s budget cut security (divert, distract) and Issa brought the document issue forward just in time for the debate (perfect timing).

Another member of congress aiding in the coverup.

  • HAVE WE HIT BOTTOM YET? April 13, 2014
During the nearly five and a half years of the Obama presidency, America has been moving in the wrong direction. The U.S. economy continues to struggle through the longest and slowest recovery from recession since World War II. From Benghazi to Ukraine, U.S. foreign policy has collapsed. U.S. world leadership has receded to a low not seen since the 1930s. Ha […]
  • UKRAINE: APPROACHING CRITICAL MASS? March 23, 2014
Critical mass in nuclear science is the smallest amount of fissile material needed for a sustained nuclear chain reaction. Critical mass in international politics is the smallest amount of aggression needed to start a war. Despite what President Obama and other Western leaders say and do, the situation in Ukraine may be fast approaching that point.

  • RESTRUCTURING THE MILITARY March 2, 2014
Like most conservatives, President Obama's proposed reductions of the U.S. armed forces disturb me. Since after World War I, every time we have reduced our military strength after a war, we've regretted it. Nevertheless, it's time to rethink the mission, size and composition of the U.S. military, preparing for the next war, not a repeat of the […]

We might forgive NBC Sports for glossing over the evils of Soviet communism during the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, if it weren't for all those young men and women, born since the fall of Soviet Union, that have no memories of the Cold War or the "evil empire." Straight-line projecting current trends into the future is easy; but odds are that you'll be less than half right. History rarely unfolds in a straight line; and the U.S. national security environment in the year ahead is fraught with twists and turns. Nevertheless, straight-lining things, odds are that by this time next year, threats to U.S. national s […]
