To say that 9/11 changed America is a gross understatement. It could well prove to be the lynchpin in a series of events that will determine the course of American history in the 21st century. Like the aggression and rise of nationalism in the early 20th century, which led to World War I, World War II, and the Cold War with it’s Korean and Vietnam wars, the 9/11 attacks and the Islamic Jihadism that spawned them will have lasting and profound effects on America for generations. Discussion: THE LEGACY OF 9/11 IS ABOUT MUCH MORE THAN TERRORISM

9/11 did show there will always be the patriot who will step forward in defense of this nation. Now look at how they must fight to get and keep a job. The conservative movement might accomplish more by having hearing on this but zero in on the lax enforcemnt of the laws by OFCCP. Political correctnexss comes first. Now OFCCP is covering its tracks with new regulations.

Congress holds press confrecess on what is being done and it is a lot of nothing. The legacy of 9/11 should be how we employ all veterans and prevent this abuse of the Department of Labor. Read “Failure to Enforce The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act in Southern California and the Nation, 1975 to 2001.” and numerous others. The veteran will step forward and protect the weak even if it means they will suffer loss because of it. Freedom is more important. What is the legacy of 9/11?

Deep cuts in the U.S. defense budget will have a negative impact on U.S. national security. Equally, if not more worrisome, are the effects of the strain we are putting on our warriors by endlessly placing them in harm's way with no clear victory they can tell themselves was worth their sacrifice.

  • THIRTY SECONDS OVER TOKYO April 15, 2012
Brief events often have the most profound and lasting impact. April 18 is the 70th anniversary of the Doolittle bombing raid on Tokyo, America's first military strike against the Imperial Japanese homeland, four months after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
